Lizzie was born on Oct. 25, 2001 and passed away the very same day. Lizzie is/was my baby sister.
I'll be honest, most years pass by and the day doesn't even phase me.
I was 11 when she was born and I don't really remember the chaos.
The only things I remember are missing a couple days of school and watching my family cry.
For a few years we remembered Lizzie by doing a balloon release.
Overtime that began to be too much for all of us so we quit.
This year is the first year that all four of us spent our day in completely different places.
My sis is away at school.
Pops is out of town for work.
Moms was home.
& I was in Omaha.
So, I'll ask you... to remember Lizzie by loving those around you wherever you are.
